- Lime - 1, juiced
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Bay leaf - 1
- White fish fillets - 1 pound, cut into chunks
- Mussels - 1 pound
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
- Clams - 1 pound
- Fish stock - 4 cups
- Tomato - 2 medium, diced
- Bell pepper - 1, diced
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 large, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Pour in the fish stock and bring to a boil.
- Add the clams, shrimp, mussels, and white fish fillets to the pot.
- Add the bay leaf, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the seafood is cooked through and the flavors have melded together.
- Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
