Shrimp Scampi with Pasta
This delicious shrimp scampi is made with succulent shrimp, garlic, butter, lemon juice, and served over a bed of pasta.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 cup, grated
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- White wine - 1/4 cup
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
- Pasta - 8 ounces
Let's Get Started
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and cooked through.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it with the sauce.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
