Shrimp Scampi
This delicious shrimp scampi is made with succulent shrimp, garlic, butter, lemon juice, and white wine.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Linguine - 8 ounces, cooked
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- White wine - 1/4 cup
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through.
- Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the lemon juice, white wine, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to the skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has slightly reduced.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve the shrimp scampi over cooked linguine.
