Shredded Beef Tacos
These delicious shredded beef tacos are made with tender slow-cooked beef, flavorful spices, and topped with your favorite taco toppings.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Taco toppings (e.g. lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, salsa) - As desired
- Tortillas - 12
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 tablespoon
- Cumin - 1 tablespoon
- Chili powder - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
- Beef broth - 2 cups
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 large, chopped
- Beef chuck roast - 3 pounds
Let's Get Started
- In a slow cooker, combine the beef chuck roast, chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 8 hours or on high heat for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shreds.
