Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Wrap the tofu in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top to press out the excess water. Let sit for 15 minutes.
  2. In a mortar and pestle, grind the toasted sesame seeds into a paste.
  3. Add the soy sauce and sugar to the sesame paste and mix well.
  4. Crumble the pressed tofu and add it to the sesame dressing. Mix well until the tofu is coated in the dressing.
  5. Add the julienned carrot and chopped spinach to the tofu mixture. Toss well to combine.
  6. Season with salt to taste.
  7. Serve the salad chilled.
