Sesame Garlic Tempeh Stir Fry

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the tempeh and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the remaining sesame oil and the garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the bell pepper and broccoli and stir-fry until tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Pour over the vegetables in the pan and stir to coat.
  6. Return the tempeh to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
