Seared Tofu with Soy Sauce

  1. Drain the tofu and press it to remove excess water. Cut into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the tofu to the pan and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the pan and cook for another minute.
  5. Pour the soy sauce over the tofu. Stir gently to coat the tofu in the sauce.
  6. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
  7. Serve the tofu topped with the chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
