Seafood Boil
A flavorful seafood boil with shrimp, crab, and lobster, perfect for a summer gathering.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Butter - 1/2 cup, melted
- Lemons - 2, halved
- Lobster tails - 6
- Crab legs - 2 pounds
- Shrimp - 2 pounds, unpeeled
- Corn on the cob - 6, halved
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Onions - 2, quartered
- Sausage - 1 pound, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Potatoes - 6 small, quartered
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Old bay seasoning - 1/2 cup
- Water - 4 quarts
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, bring the water, Old Bay Seasoning, and salt to a boil.
- Add the potatoes, sausage, onions, and garlic to the pot. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the corn to the pot and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Add the shrimp, crab legs, and lobster tails to the pot. Cook until the seafood is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain the water from the pot.
- Squeeze the lemons over the seafood and drizzle with the melted butter.
- Serve the seafood boil hot, with extra melted butter and Old Bay Seasoning on the side.
