Scallops with Xo Sauce
This is a delicious seafood dish featuring pan-seared scallops served with a rich and spicy XO sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Xo sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Scallops - 12 large
Let's Get Started
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the scallops to the skillet and sear for about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the XO sauce and cook for another minute.
- Return the scallops to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Serve the scallops with the sauce, garnished with the chopped green onions.
