Scallops with Xo Sauce

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Season the scallops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the scallops to the skillet and sear for about 2 minutes on each side, until golden brown. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the XO sauce and cook for another minute.
  6. Return the scallops to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Serve the scallops with the sauce, garnished with the chopped green onions.
