Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sausage meat, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Spread the sausage mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Roll up the pastry tightly, starting from one of the long sides.
  6. Cut the rolled pastry into 8 equal-sized pieces.
  7. Place the sausage rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the sausage is cooked through.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!
