  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a large baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the onion, celery, and apple. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes.
