A classic San Francisco salad that's refreshing and very filling at the same time. It's usually served as a whole meal and features crisp lettuce, succulent shrimp, ripe tomatoes, and a tangy dressing.

San Francisco Shrimp Louie Salad

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook until they are pink and cooked through, about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside to cool.
  2. Arrange the lettuce on a large platter or in individual salad bowls.
  3. Top the lettuce with the cooked shrimp, diced tomatoes, sliced eggs, sliced avocado, and sliced cucumber.
  4. Drizzle the Louie dressing over the top of the salad.
  5. Serve immediately, with extra dressing on the side if desired.
