Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. Once they start to splutter, add the chopped ginger and green chillies.
  3. Add the mashed potatoes and green peas to the pan. Add the coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes. Set aside to cool.
  4. In a bowl, mix the flour with a little oil and water to make a stiff dough. Cover and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each one out into a circle. Cut each circle in half.
  6. Take one half of the circle and fold it into a cone shape. Fill the cone with the potato and peas mixture, then seal the edges using a little water.
  7. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the samosas on low heat until golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
