Salsiccia E Fagioli
A hearty Italian dish of sausages and beans, perfect for a comforting dinner.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Rosemary - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Chicken broth - 1 cup
- Diced tomatoes - 1 can
- Cannellini beans - 1 can, drained and rinsed
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Italian sausages - 4
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the onion and garlic and cook until softened.
- Add the beans, tomatoes, chicken broth, and rosemary. Bring to a simmer.
- Cut the sausages into slices and add them back into the pot. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, until the flavors are well combined.
- Serve hot with crusty bread.
