Salmon and Pasta in Cream Sauce
This delicious dish combines tender salmon with al dente pasta in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Fresh dill - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Pasta - 8 ounces
- Salmon fillets - 4 fillets
Let's Get Started
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the cream sauce.
- Gently flake the cooked salmon fillets into large chunks and add them to the skillet.
- Sprinkle with chopped fresh dill and season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
