Salami and Roasted Red Pepper Sub
A delicious and hearty sub sandwich filled with salami, roasted red peppers, and melted provolone cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Provolone cheese - 8 slices
- Roasted red peppers - 1 cup, sliced
- Salami - 1 pound, sliced
- Sub rolls - 4
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Open the sub rolls and layer the salami, roasted red peppers, and provolone cheese on one side of each roll.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and minced garlic. Brush this mixture over the inside of the top half of each roll.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Close the subs and wrap each one tightly in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sub is heated through.
