Saganaki
Saganaki is a traditional Greek appetizer made with a firm cheese that's fried until crispy and melty, and then served with lemon and bread.

- Pita bread - For serving
- Lemon wedges - For serving
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- All-purpose flour - 1/2 cup
- Kefalotyri or kasseri cheese - 200 grams
Let's Get Started
- Cut the cheese into 1/2 inch thick slices.
- Dredge the cheese slices in the flour, shaking off any excess.
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add the cheese slices to the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the cheese from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the fried cheese immediately with lemon wedges and pita bread.
