Rødgrød Med Fløde
Rødgrød med fløde is a traditional Danish dessert made with a variety of red berries and served with cream.

- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Whipping cream - 1 cup
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1/2 cup

- Strawberries - 1 cup, sliced
- Raspberries - 1 cup
- Red currants - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a large saucepan, combine the red currants, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, sugar, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little water to make a slurry.
- Slowly pour the cornstarch slurry into the berry mixture, stirring constantly.
- Continue to cook for another 5 minutes, or until the mixture has thickened.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the rødgrød cool for a few minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whip the cream with the vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Serve the rødgrød warm or chilled, topped with a dollop of whipped cream.
