- Salt - A pinch
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 50 ml
- Anise liqueur - 50 ml
- Anise seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Eggs - 2
- Sugar - 200 grams
- All-purpose flour - 500 grams
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the anise seeds, anise liqueur, and olive oil. Mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Take small portions of the dough and roll into ropes. Then, shape the ropes into rings and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until the rosquillas are golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
