Roast Turkey Breast
A simple and delicious roast turkey breast recipe perfect for a family dinner or holiday gathering.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Thyme - 1 tablespoon, fresh and chopped
- Rosemary - 1 tablespoon, fresh and chopped
- Garlic cloves - 3, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Bone-in turkey breast - 1 (6 to 7 pounds)
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Rinse the turkey breast and pat dry.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the olive oil mixture all over the turkey breast, making sure to get under the skin as well.
- Place the turkey breast on a rack in a roasting pan, skin side up.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
