Ricotta Gnocchi

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ricotta, Parmesan, egg, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. On a floured surface, divide the dough into 4 pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope, then cut into 1-inch pieces.
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the top, about 2-3 minutes. Drain.
  4. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve the gnocchi with a sprinkle of chopped basil on top.
