Edamame Bolognese Sauce

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the edamame and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the tomato paste until well combined.
  5. Add the crushed tomatoes, red wine, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Stir in the chopped basil and cook for another 2 minutes.
