Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients - Serves 8
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cloves - 1/4 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
- All-purpose flour - 1 3/4 cups
- Eggs - 2
- Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
- Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
- Granulated sugar - 1 cup
- Pumpkin puree - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugars, oil, eggs, and water. Mix until well blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, stirring just until incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
