Pork Tenderloin with Balsamic Glaze
This delicious pork tenderloin is marinated and cooked to perfection, then topped with a tangy balsamic glaze.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Dijon mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Balsamic vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Pork tenderloin - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Heat the olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork tenderloin from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off, and place it in the skillet.
- Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Remove the pork tenderloin from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- While the pork is resting, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the glaze thickens.
- Slice the pork tenderloin and drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top. Serve hot and enjoy!
