Let's Get Started

  1. Wash the flattened rice (poha) under running water for a few seconds. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  3. Add curry leaves, chopped onion, and green chili. Sauté until the onion turns translucent.
  4. Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
  5. Add the washed flattened rice (poha) to the pan. Mix gently to combine all the ingredients.
  6. Cover the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to blend.
  7. Remove from heat and drizzle lemon juice over the poha. Mix well.
  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds (optional).
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
