  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and shape each one into a small disc.
  3. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the dough discs in the hot oil until they are golden brown on both sides, about 2 minutes per side.
  5. Remove the picaditas from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  6. Spread a layer of refried beans on each picadita, followed by a spoonful of salsa and a sprinkle of queso fresco.
  7. Serve the picaditas warm.
