Ingredients - Serves 4
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mixed herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano) - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Potatoes - 1.5 pounds, cut into chunks
- Broccoli - 1 large head, cut into florets
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Black pepper - 2 tablespoons, freshly ground
- New york strip steak - 4 steaks
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Toss the potatoes with half the olive oil, mixed herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread out on a baking sheet and roast for 30-40 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- While the potatoes are roasting, season the steaks with the freshly ground black pepper and salt.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the steaks and sear on each side for about 3 minutes, until a crust forms. Remove from the skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add the butter and broccoli. Sauté until the broccoli is tender and slightly charred.
- Serve the steaks with the sautéed broccoli and herb roasted potatoes.
