Pecan Sticky Buns

Ingredients - Serves 12

Let's Get Started

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk, sugar, and butter until the butter is melted. Let cool until lukewarm, then stir in the yeast and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the milk mixture, eggs, flour, and salt. Knead until a smooth dough forms, then cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and roll up tightly.
  4. Cut the dough into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Sprinkle the buns with the chopped pecans and bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Let the buns cool for a few minutes, then invert onto a serving plate. Serve warm.
