Pea Curry

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the chopped tomato and cook until it softens, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add curry powder, cumin, turmeric, chili powder, and salt to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  6. Add the green peas and coconut milk to the pan. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  7. Cover the pan and let the curry simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the peas are cooked through.
  8. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
