Patatas Bravas Coffee
This unique twist on the classic Spanish dish, Patatas Bravas, incorporates the rich flavor of coffee for a savory and delicious experience.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Smoked paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Hot sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato sauce - 1/2 cup
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - To taste
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Coffee grounds - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Potatoes - 4 medium-sized, peeled and diced
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the diced potatoes, olive oil, coffee grounds, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and garlic powder. Toss until the potatoes are evenly coated.
- Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
- While the potatoes are roasting, prepare the bravas sauce. In a small saucepan, heat the tomato sauce and hot sauce over medium heat until warmed through.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and smoked paprika to make the aioli.
- Once the potatoes are done, transfer them to a serving dish. Drizzle the bravas sauce over the potatoes and dollop the aioli on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
