Panqueques Con Dulce de Leche
Delicious Argentinean-style pancakes filled with sweet caramelized milk.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Powdered sugar - For dusting
- Dulce de leche - 1 cup
- Butter - 2 tablespoons, melted
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Eggs - 2
- Milk - 1 cup
- All-purpose flour - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and brush with melted butter.
- Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet and swirl to evenly coat the bottom.
- Cook for about 2 minutes, or until the edges start to lift and the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
- Transfer the cooked pancake to a plate and repeat with the remaining batter.
- Spread a generous amount of dulce de leche on each pancake.
- Roll up the pancakes and dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
