Pan Seared Filet Mignon with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Season the filet mignon steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and cook until browned on both sides, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the potatoes to the skillet and cook until tender, about 15 minutes. Mash the potatoes with a potato masher, then stir in the milk. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Drain and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve the filet mignon with the garlic mashed potatoes and green beans.
