Oyster Ramen
This delicious oyster ramen is made with fresh oysters, flavorful broth, and noodles.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Chili oil - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Soft-boiled eggs - 2
- Seaweed sheets - 2, shredded
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken or vegetable broth - 4 cups
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
- Fresh oysters - 12
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, bring the chicken or vegetable broth to a boil.
- Add the soy sauce and mirin to the broth and stir well.
- Add the ramen noodles and cook according to the package instructions.
- While the noodles are cooking, shuck the oysters and set them aside.
- Once the noodles are cooked, divide them into two bowls.
- Place the oysters in the hot broth for about 1 minute, just until they are heated through.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the oysters from the broth and place them on top of the noodles in the bowls.
- Pour the hot broth over the noodles and oysters.
- Top with sliced green onions, shredded seaweed, soft-boiled eggs, sesame oil, and chili oil.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
