Oreo Cheesecake
Indulge in this rich and creamy Oreo cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Oreo cookies (for garnish) - 4 cookies, crushed
- Whipped cream - 1 cup
- Eggs - 3
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Sour cream - 1/2 cup
- Granulated sugar - 1 cup
- Cream cheese - 16 oz (2 packages), softened
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, melted
- Oreo cookies - 24 cookies
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until fine. Add melted butter and pulse until combined.
- Press the cookie mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add sour cream and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in whipped cream until evenly incorporated.
- Pour the cheesecake batter over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are slightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to set.
- Before serving, garnish with crushed Oreo cookies.
