Onion and Sausage Casserole

Ingredients - Serves 6
- Cheddar cheese - 1 cup, grated
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Thyme - 1 teaspoon
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Chicken broth - 2 cups
- Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Sausages - 6, cut into chunks
- Onions - 2 large, thinly sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Add the sausage chunks to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.
- Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and onions and stir to coat.
