Onion and Herb Roasted Chicken
This onion and herb roasted chicken is juicy, flavorful, and perfect for a family dinner.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh thyme - 2 sprigs
- Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Yellow onions - 2 large, sliced
- Whole chicken - 1 (about 4-5 pounds)
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
- Season the chicken with salt and black pepper, both inside and outside.
- In a roasting pan, place the sliced onions, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
