Onion and Garlic Pasta Sauce
A simple and flavorful pasta sauce made with onions, garlic, and tomatoes.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Basil - 1 tablespoon, fresh or dried
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Canned tomatoes - 1 can (28 ounces), crushed
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onions - 2, finely chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and cook until the onions are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the crushed tomatoes, salt, pepper, and basil. Stir to combine.
