Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Wash and season the assorted meat with salt and seasoning cubes. Cook in a pot with water until tender.
  2. Add the stockfish and dry fish to the pot and continue cooking until they are soft.
  3. In a separate pot, heat the palm oil and add the chopped onions. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  4. Add the chopped pepper and crayfish to the pot and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Pour the cooked assorted meat, stockfish, and dry fish into the pot with the sautéed ingredients.
  6. Add water to achieve the desired consistency of the soup.
  7. Season with salt and additional seasoning cubes if needed. Allow the soup to simmer for about 10 minutes.
  8. Add the shredded oha leaves to the pot and stir well. Let it cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  10. Serve hot with your choice of swallow (e.g., fufu, pounded yam, or eba).
