Nutella Stuffed Pancakes

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and spread it into a circle.
  6. Place a spoonful of Nutella in the center of the pancake.
  7. Cover the Nutella with another 1/4 cup of batter, spreading it to cover the filling.
  8. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.
  9. Repeat with the remaining batter and Nutella.
  10. Serve the Nutella stuffed pancakes warm with additional Nutella, fresh berries, or maple syrup.
