Num Krok
Num Krok is a traditional Cambodian coconut rice pancake.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Coconut milk - 1 cup
- Rice flour - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rice flour, coconut milk, sugar, salt, and green onions. Mix well until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a small amount of vegetable oil.
- Pour a spoonful of the batter into the pan to form small pancakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Flip the pancakes and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve the Num Krok warm as an appetizer or snack.
