New York Strip Steak with Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Herb Roasted Potatoes
A hearty and flavorful dish featuring a perfectly cooked New York strip steak, served with roasted Brussels sprouts and herb roasted potatoes.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mixed herbs (rosemary, thyme, parsley) - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Potatoes - 1 pound, quartered
- Brussels sprouts - 1 pound, halved
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste

Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and sear on both sides until browned, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer the steaks to a plate.
- In the same skillet, add the Brussels sprouts and potatoes. Season with salt, pepper, and half of the mixed herbs. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 20 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and golden.
- In the meantime, heat the remaining olive oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and remaining herbs and cook for 2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Drizzle the herb oil over the steaks and return them to the oven for 5-10 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Serve the steaks with the roasted Brussels sprouts and potatoes on the side.
