Mushroom and Shrimp Stir Fry
This delicious stir-fry combines tender shrimp and earthy mushrooms in a savory sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, minced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Mushrooms - 8 ounces, sliced
- Shrimp - 1 pound, peeled and deveined
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the mushrooms, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, until everything is well coated and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions.
