Mousse de Manga

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh into chunks. Place the mango chunks in a blender with the sugar and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  2. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the water and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.
  3. Heat the gelatin mixture in the microwave for 15 seconds, or until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
  4. Add the gelatin mixture to the mango puree and blend until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mango mixture until well combined.
  7. Pour the mousse into individual serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
  8. Serve the mousse chilled, garnished with fresh mango slices if desired.
