Meatza
This is a low-carb, gluten-free take on traditional pizza with a meat crust.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Toppings of choice - As desired
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 cup, shredded
- Pizza sauce - 1/2 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Italian seasoning - 1 tablespoon
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
- Egg - 1
- Ground beef - 1 lb
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Press the meat mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a thin, even layer.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the meat is fully cooked.
- Remove the meat crust from the oven and drain off any excess grease.
- Spread the pizza sauce over the meat crust, then sprinkle with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Add your desired toppings, then return the pizza to the oven.
- Bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
