Lobster Sauce
This rich and flavorful lobster sauce is perfect for serving with seafood dishes.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Heavy cream - 1 cup
- Chicken broth - 2 cups
- All-purpose flour - 4 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Lobster tails - 2, cooked and chopped
Let's Get Started
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the garlic and onion, and cook until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Gradually whisk in the chicken broth, making sure there are no lumps.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the chopped lobster tails and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for another 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Serve the lobster sauce over your favorite seafood dishes.
