Lekkerbek
Lekkerbek is a traditional Dutch dish, typically made with white fish that's battered and deep-fried until golden and crispy.

- Lemon wedges - For serving
- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Egg - 1
- Beer - 1 cup
- All-purpose flour - 1 cup
- White fish fillets - 4 (about 150g each)
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, mix together the flour, beer, egg, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large, deep saucepan to 375°F (190°C).
- Dip each fish fillet into the batter, making sure it's fully coated.
- Carefully lower the battered fish into the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the fish from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve the lekkerbek hot, with lemon wedges on the side.
