Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Drain the almonds from their soaking water and rinse them thoroughly under cool running water.
  2. Place the almonds in the blender and cover with 4 cups of water.
  3. Blend on the highest speed for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour the mixture into a nut milk bag or cheesecloth over a bowl and squeeze to extract as much liquid as possible.
  5. Pour the milk back into the blender and add the honey or agave, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend for another minute until well combined.
  6. Pour the milk into a bottle or jar and store in the fridge. Shake well before using as it may separate. Enjoy your homemade Leche de Almendra!
