Lavender and Honey Glazed Turkey

Ingredients - Serves 8

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the dried lavender, honey, melted butter, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika to make the glaze.
  4. Brush the glaze all over the turkey, making sure to coat it evenly.
  5. Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan.
  6. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the roasting pan.
  7. Cover the turkey loosely with foil and roast for 3 hours.
  8. Remove the foil and continue roasting for another 1 hour, or until the internal temperature of the turkey reaches 165°F.
  9. Baste the turkey with the pan juices every 30 minutes.
  10. Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  11. Serve the lavender and honey glazed turkey with your favorite side dishes.
