Ingredients - Serves 8

Let's Get Started

  1. In a saucepan, combine the dried fruits and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  4. Return the mixture to the saucepan and add sugar, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon. Stir well.
  5. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the mixture onto it, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  7. Place the baking sheet in a cool, dry place and let the mixture dry for 2-3 days, or until it becomes firm and leathery.
  8. Once dried, cut the lavashak into strips or squares.
  9. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
