Kiwi and Dark Chocolate Truffles
These kiwi and dark chocolate truffles are a delightful combination of tangy kiwi and rich dark chocolate. They make for a perfect sweet treat!
Ingredients - Serves 12
- Powdered sugar - 1/4 cup
- Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Dark chocolate - 200g, chopped
- Kiwi - 4, peeled and diced
Let's Get Started
- Place the diced kiwi in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
- Remove the melted chocolate from heat and stir in the kiwi puree and heavy cream until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm.
- Using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, scoop out portions of the chilled mixture and roll into small truffle balls.
- In separate bowls, place the cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
- Roll each truffle ball in either the cocoa powder or powdered sugar until fully coated.
- Place the coated truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate the truffles for another 30 minutes to set.
- Serve and enjoy!
