Kiwi and Dark Chocolate Truffles

Let's Get Started

  1. Place the diced kiwi in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove the melted chocolate from heat and stir in the kiwi puree and heavy cream until well combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm.
  5. Using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, scoop out portions of the chilled mixture and roll into small truffle balls.
  6. In separate bowls, place the cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
  7. Roll each truffle ball in either the cocoa powder or powdered sugar until fully coated.
  8. Place the coated truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Refrigerate the truffles for another 30 minutes to set.
  10. Serve and enjoy!
